Content Licence

Content Licence and Copyright.

Ownership and usage rights for Tunedy and its content.

Last updated: 4 September 2026

1. Ownership of the platform

The Tunedy platform, including its design, branding and software, is owned by the operator, Jens [FULL SURNAME].

2. Ownership of original audio recordings and production

Tunedy produces its own audio recordings and presentation. The operator owns the original recordings, editing, cover art and presentation created for Tunedy.

3. Separation between a recording and its source text

An audio recording is separate from any underlying source text. Owning a recording does not mean owning the underlying text, and a source text being available does not mean owning the recording.

4. Public-domain source works

Where an underlying source text is in the public domain, the source work and author are identified on the relevant audiobook page. We do not claim ownership of public-domain source material.

5. Public-domain source does not make our recording public domain

A public-domain source text does not automatically make Tunedy's recording, editing, cover art or presentation public domain. Those remain owned by the operator.

6. Limited personal, non-commercial streaming licence

We grant you a limited personal, non-commercial licence to stream content through the Service for your own listening.

7. No unauthorized downloading or redistribution

You may not download, extract, copy, redistribute, rebroadcast, resell or reupload content, except as expressly permitted by law or by us in writing.

8. No scraping or circumvention

You may not scrape the Service or circumvent any technical restrictions that protect content or the platform.

9. Attribution for third-party material

Where third-party material is used with permission, it is attributed as required.

10. Copyright and takedown requests

If you believe content on Tunedy infringes your rights, you can send a notice through the Contact page using the "Copyright or licensing" subject.

11. Required information for a copyright notice

Please include: your contact details, identification of the protected work, identification of the material on Tunedy, a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is unauthorized, and a statement that the information is accurate and, where applicable, that you are authorised to act.

12. Good-faith review and response

We review genuine notices in good faith and respond as appropriate, which may include removing or disabling access to the material in question.

13. User feedback

If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant us a limited licence to use them to improve the Service without any obligation to you.

14. Reservation of rights

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the operator.

15. Contact procedure

For licensing questions or notices, please use the Contact page.
